SAVE ACT

Dear Journal,

As a Marine Veteran, I've dedicated my life to defending the Constitution and the values that make our nation great. Today, I want to talk about something that's been weighing heavily on my mind: the SAVE Act and why it's vital to our Constitutional Republic.

The SAVE Act, or the "Stop Alien Voter Enrollment Act," is a piece of legislation designed to prevent non-citizens from voting in our elections. It's a simple concept, really—only Citizens of the United States should have a say in how our country is run and not illegals or even green card holders. But the importance of this act goes far beyond just maintaining the integrity of our elections. It's about preserving the very foundation of our republic.

You see, our Constitution is clear: the power of the government comes from the consent of the governed—and the governed are the citizens of the United States. When non-citizens vote, they dilute the voices of American citizens. They influence our policies, our laws, and our future. That's not just wrong; it's a direct threat to our sovereignty and our democratic principles.

Now, some might say that alien voting isn't a big deal, that it's a victimless crime. But let me tell you, it's not. It's a felony, plain and simple. Under 18 U.S. Code § 611, it's illegal for aliens to vote in any federal, state, or local election. And for good reason—voting is a sacred right and responsibility reserved for citizens.

The problem, as I see it, lies with certain federal agencies, namely the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and, more specifically, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). These agencies have a duty to protect the integrity of our elections, but they've been falling short. They've been more focused on playing politics than on securing our voting systems and enforcing the law.
That's why we need the SAVE Act. It's a common-sense solution that would require states to use the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) program to verify the citizenship of registered voters. This would help ensure that only citizens are voting in our elections, plain and simple.

But here's the thing: not everyone in Congress is on board. Some politicians are actively working against the SAVE Act, and that's not just misguided—it's treasonous. They're putting their own political interests above the interests of our nation and the integrity of our elections. We, as citizens, need to watch these politicians closely. We need to hold them accountable for their actions.

In the Marines, we have a saying: "Semper Fidelis," or "Always Faithful." It's a reminder that we have a duty to protect and defend our country, no matter what. Today, I'm calling on all Americans to be Semper Fidelis. Stand up for our Constitution. Stand up for our republic. And stand up for the SAVE Act. It's not just a political issue—it's a matter of national security and the future of our great nation.

Semper Fi,
Marine Veteran, proud American, Father and concerned citizen
